May 29, 2009 - The Phi Beta Lambda Chapter of the Business Administration Department at Carlos Albizu University will be hosting a panel discussion titled “Career Opportunities and Trends in International Trade”. The panel will be composed of distinguished business leaders working in the International Trade field. The panel will take place on June 25th from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Miami Campus of Carlos Albizu University.
Attendees to this panel will be exposed to some of the key trends occurring in the International Trade arena, as well as to the professional and entrepreneurial opportunities these trends create in spite of the current economic downturn.
The panelists include: Mary Hernandez, Regional Manager of the Small Business Administration’s International Trade Programs; Arcelio Gerardo, Import Supervisor for Tasco Quality Optics; Yvette Aguirre, licensed U.S. Customs broker from World Wise Consulting Inc., Ralph Puga, President of the Florida Foreign Trade Association, and Maria Gutierrez, Business Development Officer with the Export Import Bank of the United States Southeast Regional Office.
