Marriage and Family Therapy The
Marriage and Family Therapy Major is designed to train marriage and family
therapists who can provide culturally specific therapeutic interventions to individuals,
couples and families in public and private services settings. The curriculum
is designed to develop diagnostic skills and therapeutic techniques needed to
address the dynamics of dysfunctional families and to facilitate growth. Requirements
for this degree include 45 academic credits, 7 Practicum credits, a cumulative
grade point average of 3.00 and the successful completion of the comprehensive
examination.
