The members of the Board of Trustees, the faculty, the students, the staff and I extend a warm welcome to the Carlos Albizu University Web site. Carlos Albizu University is built on a cornerstone of academic excellence and on its pride in achieving national prominence for its focus and dedication to the study and understanding of human behaviors from a holistic, dynamic and integrative perspective. Our program offerings are based on the commitment to offer comprehensive professional training in tune with the latest developments in the field of knowledge. Our programs seek to ensure that our students receive ample and sufficient experiences to enable them to become competent and ethical professionals in their field of study. We strive to prepare students to make a difference to our society. Our educational philosophy is based on the legacy of our founder, Dr. Carlos Albizu and I quote: “Education without love is sterile. Knowledge which is based only on logic and reason can become dehumanizing and is not at the service of man. Education which is guided by love emphasizes the social good, rather than individual competition. It is not competitive knowledge but rather cooperative knowledge.”

In addition to offering a culturally sensitive curriculum and an intensive and varied practicum experiences, our programs are unique in the field of professional education given our ability to offer flexible programs of studies. This flexibility is sensitive to the needs of the working professional in search of a change in career, and /or those who cannot engage in daytime studies due to present job and or family commitments.
