Dr. Guerrero completed her undergraduate training at St. Thomas University in Miami. She earned a Master Degree in Psychology from Columbia University in New York and a Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey. She completed a post-doctoral internship with the Federal Bureau of Prisons at the Carswell Medical Center in Texas. She is a Licensed Psychologist in the States of Texas and Florida.

Dr. Guerrero has specialized training and experience in Forensic Psychology. Her research and clinical interests include domestic abuse and PTSD. Dr. Guerrero is a member of the American Psychological Association, the American Psychology-Law Society, and the Gay and Lesbian Lawyers Network.
